Herman Yiu Review

I thank the Tax Gods that I found Herman.  I own my own marketing agency and also have a complex personal tax situation.  I dread taxes and bookkeeping; however, Herman's pleasant attitude, calm mannerism, superior organizational skills and in-dept expertise makes it easy!  He is always accessible and very responsive.  You can't find many accountants like Herman in NYC.

Very knowledgable and approachable accountant. I've got a fairly complex tax situation this year, and Herman walked me through the best ways to track and manage all my relavent income and expenses. He took the time to understand my needs and answered all my questions. I walked away feeling confident instead of overwhelmed.

Herman has been my CPA for the last 5 years. I previously used random accounting firms in Flushing or Chinatown but I always felt that they were just grinding out returns without putting any attention to it. Herman actually educated me on line item deductions and took the time to explain to me what my options are. He is extremely knowledable, works proficiently and has very personable service. I have referred several family and friends to Herman over the years and never once received a complaint.

Gunwel Tax & Bookkeeping Service Review

I contacted Gunwel last month to inquire pricing, received a prompt and friendly email reply with an attached pricing schedule so I'd know the exact breakdown.  A couple of weeks later I telephoned  to ask a question and, although I'd never given these lovely folks a dime, was given advise.  AND in a friendly, helpful tone... It was as though the person on the other end of the phone actually WANTED to be helpful. 

Finally made my appointment & went in today.  Met Natalie, and Bill.  I was offered water, soda, or cold coffee -- this sort of cheekiness made me feel right at home.  Sat down with Bill went over my infos & papers.  Talked about 'The Tudors' its and historical inaccuracies.

Balcom Consulting Svcs Review

As the tax season is upon us, I was reminded that I should write a review for the wonderful people who helped me get a great return last year! I was recommended to come to this place by a friend of mine. It is not a fancy accounting office, rather a room with some chairs and a window. It almost looks like a check cashing joint...lol.

At Balcom Consulting Services they offer Accounting, Bookkeeping, Small Business Tax Prep., Tax Planning, and Small Business Consulting, they also do taxes for the little people like me if that does not fit into that category. Not only did I get friendly service, a great return, everything was organized and but into a nice neat binder for safe keeping. They spend time really figuring out how to get you your money, they are ethical in every shape or form, they are thorough that is why you have to wait for a call. I am happy to say I will be using them again for the upcoming tax season
